As a Mexican American I made it my goal to get a coffee from Mexico when the time was right. This geisha from Veracruz felt like the perfect fit since it shows the potential of the current coffee coming out of Mexico. This coffee is very clean and has a the structure and flavor of herbal tea. If I could describe this coffee as tea I would say it tastes like flower tea that has had orange peels and defrayed fruit pieces added to it. This is not a funky honey and is easy drinking (presents like a washed coffee). The most prominent notes are herbal leaning florality. Viva Mexico! Over days of tasting we have experienced notes of marigold, orange peel, chamomile, green tea, pilloncillo sugar, and apple butter.
